Over 20 years ago I knew a guy in the Army. He was very wise with his money as most of us young men back then simply were not. While we were at the clubs on the weekends spending our money this guy had bought a computer, stuck it in his barracks closet and played Everquest online. He also had a pretty decent vehicle while the rest of us drove hoopties. If I could do it again I would have followed his example. Anyways.... he was a buddy of mine and he stopped by my room and was just.... totally excited. He couldn't stop talking about Final Fantasy X and how it was going to be an absolute ground breaking game. In my own mind back then I thought to myself... "Yeah this dude's a dork and a geek", but he was still my friend, you know? About 5 years later I wound up in Walter Reed Army Hospital and my 16 year old brother stayed with me in the Malone House as it was called. Basically it was a really nice Hotel on base for soldiers waiting to be out-processed. My little brother was also a geek. What am I saying? He still is! He's also very gifted and very smart. He's working on his Master's Degree for Chemistry and Biology. So anyhoos he saw that I had a Playstation 2 and broke out Final Fantasy X. I myself was more partial to fighting games like Tekken 4 and Soul Calibur 2. I watched him play Final Fantasy X and watched the storyline. Man the story just sucks you in like a vacuum. Now I'm THE DORK. Now I'm the GEEK 20 something years later. I love The Final Fantasy series, even the very old ones from the NES/Famicom days. You know if there's anything I've learned being 45 years of age it's not to judge something until it's tried personally.... within reason, of course. In this case the Final Fantasy series and RPG's in general became a staple in my gaming, but.... Final Fantasy X will always be my first RPG. I might play it again, actually. I'm planning on it. Cheers! 😁

This story is inaccurate...1st of all the staff of Hermes is the Staff of Tahuti or Thot an African God...an Egyptian God.....this story was supposed to be based in Africa not Greece...not to mention, very strong evidence shows Atlantis is located in Mauritania Northwest Africa, next to senegal. ...This Assassin's creed story is garbage.
